IMPOUND LOT IN TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN
In order to redeem a vehicle that has been impounded, the following is required:
- Valid driver’s license and/or Government issued photo ID (passport, military ID card, state issued ID card)
- Proof of ownership (Vehicle Title, Vehicle registration, bill of sale)
- Registered owner must be present or a notarized letter from the registered owner giving permission to the person redeeming the vehicle.
** If an investigative “hold” has been placed on your impounded vehicle, it cannot be released until the hold has been lifted by the law enforcement agency.
